Find Affordable Rental Housing
Surprisingly, there are many ways to find affordable housing if you know where to look.
On the Federal level, state-owned public housing is available for people with low income, seniors, and people with disabilities through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
HUD doesn't own rental property. It gives money to states and building owners, who in turn provide low-income housing opportunities.
